In the midst of 18 tours teaching and choreographing in France, the French Ministry of Culture and La Federation Française de Danse presented her with an honorary terminal diploma for teachers, Professeur Agrégé, recognizing her as one of the notable dance educators responsible for bringing contemporary American jazz and modern dance techniques to France.
As Co-Founder and Artistic Co-Director of N/N Dance Collaborative (2021-2023), Nancy presented new and restaged works in NYC theaters and performance spaces. Formerly Company Director of Circle of Dance Repertory Company (Huntington, NY), for seven of her 15 year tenure with them as Resident Choreographer, she facilitated the company's growth into booking performances in NYC and international venues. Nancy is also Co-Founder of Post Concert Dance Company, the resident company at LIU Post, and served as its Co-Director for over a decade.
Nancy's current area of interest is investigating the integration of live and recorded video feeds in the creative process of dancemaking for the concert stage. She also plans to continue along her recent paths of creating work focusing on social/environmental/political themes and collaborating with composers, filmmakers, designers and visual artists.
