Nancy Brier is currently a member of the Dance faculties of LIU Post in Brookville, NY and Nassau Community College in Garden City, NY, teaching courses in Modern and Jazz Technique, Dance Composition/Improvisation, Current Dance in NYC, Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Motif Notation, Dance Concepts, Dance History and Movement for Stage. She has also taught courses in Modern and Jazz Technique, Dance Composition, Performance Skills and Laban Movement Studies on the faculties of Adelphi University, SUNY-Old Westbury, Centre Regional Education Physique et des Sports (Montpellier, France), Long Island High School for the Arts and on the assistant faculty of Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies (New York, NY) and toured France 18 times conducting contemporary modern and jazz residencies, intensives and master classes. In 2019 she created The Reel Project, working with pre-professional dancers on gathering footage, shooting, developing and editing promotional dance reels.
